ALMOND MEAL CRACKERS


Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 1-1/2 cups of almond flour

  • 1 tbsp. of chia seeds

  • 1 tsp. of oregano

  • 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp. of baking soda (aluminum-free)

  • 1/4 tsp. of salt

  • 1/4 tsp. of pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix together until a ball of dough forms

  3. Place dough ball in between two sheets of parchment paper

  4. With a rolling pin roll out dough in between the two sheets (so it doesn’t stick to the counter)

  5. Roll until dough is 1/4 inch thick

  6. Take off the top sheet and place the bottom sheet and rolled out dough on to a baking sheet

  7. With a knife or a pizza cutter score the dough into squares

  8. Bake for 12-15 min. or until crispy

  9. Cool, break apart square pieces and seal in a glass jar

  10. Enjoy with hummus
