Brownies


Recipe #1 Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of almond butter or tahini

  • 1/2 cup of cooked sweet potato

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/3 cup of 100% raw cocoa powder (baking soda free)

  • 1/3 cup raw honey

  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda (aluminum-free)

  • 1/4 cup of 90% chocolate chips or chunks

Recipe #2 Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of almond butter or tahini

  • 1/2 cup of cooked pumpkin

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/3 cup of 100% raw cocoa powder (baking soda free)

  • 1/3 cup of monk fruit

  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda (aluminum-free)

  • 1/4 cup of 90% chocolate chips or chunks (optional)


  1. Pre-heat over to 350

  2. Mix together almond butter/tahini, pumpkin/sweet potato, monk fruit/honey and egg

  3. Stir in cocoa powder and baking soda to wet mixture until combined

  4. Fold in chocolate chips

  5. Pour batter into a greased 8x8 baking dish

  6. Bake for 20-25 min. until centre bounces back

  7. Let cool, portion into squares and enjoy!

Note: These brownie recipes are very forgiving, so if you don’t have a certain ingredient feel free to swap with something else. Ex. honey can be replaced with maple syrup.
