APPLE CHUTNEY


Ingredients

  • 3 large apples, chopped

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 1 clove of garlic, minced

  • 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp. of herbes de provence

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Avocado oil for cooking


  1. In a medium sized pot, add cooking oil, onion and garlic. Sautee on medium heat until tender

  2. Add apples, vinegar, maple syrup and herbes de provence, and turn down heat to medium low.

  3. Let mixture simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.

  4. Cook until most of the liquid has evaporated.

  5. Let cool and serve with turkey or pork

Note: Will store in fridge in a glass container for 2 weeks.
